Cape of Good Hope

A day excursion to the Cape of Good Hope is a „MUST“ for all visitors to this area of South Africa!
On leaving Hout Bay you enjoy  Chapman’s Peak Drive, one of the most spectacular marine drives in the world. This 9 km route with 114 curves winds along a rocky and steep coastline. Approaching Nordhoek you see the  breathtaking beach  and wetlands stretching for miles and miles. The water may look very inviting, however, due to strong currents and low water temperatures swimming is not really recommended. Maybe you and your children prefer an excursion on horse back or a visit to the Farm Village.
You continue to the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point where you can either walk up to the old lighthouse to the or take the funicular „Flying Dutschman“.
You continue to Fishhoek and Simon’s Town. At Boulder’s Beach you may visit the penguin colony and your children can even swim with these cute, little birds.
You return to Hout Bay via Muizenberg famous for its Victorian architecture and a kid-friendly beach. A super-tube waterslide offers special thrills as another highlight of this day.
